A radio feature in three movements. Research was loosely designed to capture the unique sonic composition of riverine coordinates and to generate deeper awareness and knowledge about them. Using philosophy and practice of “deep listening” (Oliveros 1971), the project aimed to minimize common tendency to objectify sound and make it external to perception. Rather, our own bodily movements—the positioning of recording devices, the direction of our steps—were influenced by the river’s flow and sound patterns.
